Anne Rorie, Nurse Practitioner

Anne Rorie

“The opportunity to care for mesothelioma patients has been an inspiring experience. I am here to be a resource for mesothelioma patients and families. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have."

Anne Rorie is a Nurse Practitioner working with PMC Scientific Advisor Dr. Robert Cameron. Anne received a Bachelor of Art in Literature from the University of California at San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles. She then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner and Specialty Occupational and Environmental Health from UCLA. She is a credentialed Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and the California Association of Occupational Health Nurses.

Anne has worked closely with Dr. Cameron in the treatment of patients with pleural mesothelioma. Like Dr. Cameron, Anne is committed to helping newly diagnosed patients sort through information concerning their disease and the various treatment options which may be available to them. She knows how overwhelming the process can be and how important it is to take time to educate patients so that they can feel confident in the treatment decisions they make. As a Nurse Practitioner, Anne is also knowledgeable about holistic care which can sometimes complement the treatments which mesothelioma patients receive.
