Many mesothelioma patients get involved in our fundraising efforts because they understand best what’s at stake in our fight against this disease. In fact, our patients are the back bone of our Three R Program: Raising Resources for Research. Here’s how you can get involved and help us in our quest for better treatment options and cutting edge research that can make a difference:

Matching Legal Awards: PMC has established a matching program for patients and their legal team to contributions to research from any asbestos-related litigation. This can be a very effective way to multiply your contribution and should be discussed with your legal team before finalizing any agreement, if possible, although it is never too late to discuss this possibility with your legal team.

Matching Gifts: Many employers match charitable contributions given by their employees. Find out from your Human Resources Department about your company’s matching gift policy.

Matching Employee Funds: Find out if your employee provides a vehicle for tax-deductible charitable contributions through payroll deductions. If they do, they often will match your contribution dollar for dollar.

3rd Party Events: Host your own fundraiser for PMC as a 3rd party event. From Bingo Night to community events, we’ve got some great ideas to raise funds for vital research and support our patients.
